City of Denton Trash Services
Trash pick up is Tuesday unless a formal holiday proceeds on Monday. When that is the case, trash pick up is Wednesday.

City of Denton Bulk Pick up (Large items such as old chairs, mattresses, some furniture...)
Extra trash bags can be scheduled for collection as bulky waste. Each trash bag would count as one (1) bulky item. Two (2) bulky items can be collected each week for free. Each additional item can be collected at a rate of $5 per item. Contact Customer Service, at (940) 349-8700, at least one business day prior to your collection day to schedule collections.
Note to the members, please do not place items out days early for pick up or leave bulk items out next to you trash cans if you have not made arrangement for Bulk Pick Up - They will not pick it up. This could lead to a 'friendly reminder letter' from the management company. Household Chemical Curbside Collection

Used motor oil and used cooking oil (screw top lid)
Batteries of all kinds
Paint of all kinds
Lightbulbs of all kinds
Household cleaners
Aerosol cans
Automotive fluids and fuels
Lawn and garden items including fertilizer, pesticides and weed killers
Pool chemicals and additives
Vanishes, strippers, turpentine and stains
Glues and epoxies

Street Lights
If you notice a street light in the Hills of Argyle, please report it to the City of Denton at 940-349-7000 Dial 3. Be sure you have the number located at the base of the light and the nearest residential address to assist in locating the correct light.
